Schooled by 40+ years working in food and drink, my days are spent searching out great stuff from market and farm, making meals to be eaten without hurry. Having lived in a handful of countries throughout Europe, my travels have covered nearly 50 countries shaping a lifestyle committed to fresh, clean food, crafting recipes easy to embrace.
Keeping it as simple as I live it: good food and full days, all washed down with something worthwhile. It's all about the food, along with the markets, small farms and artisans where it's found.
Time is split between my old stone property on the outskirts of the tiny village of Charmé in southwestern France and my native San Francisco Bay Area. When off for a wander to some other place on the planet, you can be sure that'll be tossed into the mix as well.
